In 1994, Comme Des Garçons released their first perfume, named after the brand. Many more scents followed, mostly as parts of small series. Rei Kawakubo, the founder of CDG has a concept for every scent, she sees them as fragrant art. These concept scents are developed with some of the scenes finest noses, like Mark Buxton or Bertrand Duchaufour.
