adidas ZX 5000 '30 Years of Torsion' 

adidas celebrates 30 years of the Torsion System with a reissue of the ZX 5000, ZX 6000, ZX 7000 & ZX 9000 in their OG colorways.

First debuted in 1989, the Torsion System is a technology that has continued to play a part in numerous adidas models over the subsequent three decades.

Each of the original versions of the ZX series were designed to suit slightly different running requirements, catering to all types of runners and ensuring the highest levels of performance no matter what shape the wearer’s run took. Each new iteration stays true to these characteristics, while also utilizing the OG materials and colorways that captured the attention of serious runners and sneakerheads alike.

We’re starting with the ZX 5000, faithful to the original model but with extra lace jewels and insoles, which pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Torsion System.
